About Neutral Ground

We built this to fix our own news feed.

It's getting harder to find the signal in the noise. To get the full story today, you usually have to read five different articles, cross-reference the facts, and filter out the outrage yourself.

Neutral Ground is an automated system designed to do that heavy lifting for you. We aggregate reporting from across the political spectrum and synthesize it into a single, unbiased briefing. The goal is simple: present the facts without the spin, so you can decide how to feel about them.

How it works

01

The Sweep

We monitor 19 major news outlets ranging from the far left to the far right, including international perspectives.

02

The Filter

We ignore the noise. A story only appears on our feed if at least 4 different sources are reporting on it. If it’s just one outlet pushing a rumor, we skip it.

03

The Synthesis

Our AI reads every perspective on an event. It identifies the facts that everyone agrees on, removes the emotional language, and writes a neutral summary.

04

The Bias Check

Instead of pretending bias doesn’t exist, we highlight it. Our system specifically analyzes how different outlets frame the same event—so you can see the narrative gap for yourself.

Full Transparency

Everything on this site is written by code.

There is no newsroom here. No human editor reviews these stories before they go live. We are not journalists; we are developers building tools to make sense of a polarized world.

A Note on Accuracy: Because this system is fully automated, it can make mistakes. AI can occasionally misinterpret nuance or miss context. Treat Neutral Ground as a starting point for your news diet—an efficient way to see the big picture. We always link to our primary sources, and we encourage you to verify critical information with them directly.

All article timestamps are displayed in UTC time.
